| Hello, If anyone is interested in seeing the slideshow of pictures that we showed at the beginning of our wedding, Brad has posted it on his portfolio website. Just go to www.dawsonsrejects.com and click on the video portfolio player. It’s called “My Wedding Slideshow.” The first part is just the music we played while people were coming in, so you can just let it load and then skip that part. I think he also plans to put the video of our house being built on there soon too. Just a little entertainment if you are bored! Thanks! | | |
| Well, after six long and impatient months, our house is finally ready for us to move in!! I am so excited for tomorrow, we are going to spend all day going through all the boxes we moved over there this week and put things in their place. We finally get to open all our wedding gifts! I love our house! I'm hoping to get it ready fast so maybe we can have an open house party or something. Yay!!!!!

| Guess what! My new nephew, Ethan Paul Ryder, was just born! His birthday will be October 21st. He weighed in at 7 pounds 4 ounces or something like that. I am so excited and can't wait to go meet him! While Ashley was giving birth, Brad and I were carving pumpkins. Brad's is the awesome house and mine is the crappy face. P.S. Angela had her baby girl, Annabell Grace, last Wednesday morning. Yay for babies!

| Well, the kidney stone fiasco is over (for now). The Tuesday after I went to the hospital, I went to see a specialist that Brad's dad goes to. He told me about a minimally invasive surgery they can do to get it out, but I told him I wanted to wait a little longer to see if I could pass it on my own. He also gave me the great news that I have two other stones in my other kidney! Yay! He said they are smaller and I may pass them without even noticing (fingers crossed)! So anyway I drank as much water as I could force down me for the rest of the week and finally decided on Friday to have the surgery. It went well, I just hate that kind of stuff, IVs and everything. I remember being really mad when they woke me up because I was sleeping and felt so much pain immediately when I awoke. It was cold and I had to pee really bad. They put a stent in, which was the worst part. They said I had to leave that in until Monday. So the weekend sucked because it was really painful and uncomfortable. So on Monday, I was able to get it out. They told me I could do it myself or go have the doctor do it. I wanted to do it myself but I was way too scared, so after chickening out for about 2 hours, we finally went into the office. I was so scared when they pulled it. Thankfully, Bradley was there. When they were about to do it, he basically laid on top of me, kind of giving me a hug. That helped and it was such a relief once it was over. It makes me queasy to think about it. I hope I never have to deal with this again! I talked to my mom afterwards and she was really surprised that Brad went in there with me. The whole time she's been married she basically had to do stuff like that by herself because my dad was flying. That made me really sad for her but thankful that I have Bradley. :) | | |
| While visiting Paul and Ashley in Tulsa this weekend, I woke up at 2 am on Saturday morning with extreme side/back pain and an inability to go pee. I decided I needed to go to the hospital, so we all headed up to Bailey Medical Center. They asked me to pee in a cup, which I couldn't do. Then they took blood and put an IV in me. :( They gave me some medicine which made me feel like I needed to vomit. Then they gave me morphine, which helped a little. But I was screaming really loud in the most extreme pain I've ever felt. Then they did a CT scan. After they brought me back to the room, the morphine wore off and I felt just as much pain as I did originally, so after screaming for another 5 minutes or so, they gave me more morphine. After a while, they finally told me I had a kidney stone that was 3 millimeters in size. They gave me four prescriptions and told me to go home. I asked if I could stay and they said they couldn't admit me for a kidney stone. I asked for more morphine and they said they couldn't give me any more. When the doctor came back in and saw me still doubled over in pain, he decided to give me a loritab pill before I left. So I am currently hanging out at Paul and Ashley's, peeing through a filter and waiting for this stupid thing to pass. Any advice? | | |
